Our Early Childhood, Kindergarten, and 1st grade programs are full and we are building an applicant pool for any spaces that might open up in the coming months. We are currently enrolling 2nd through 5th grade students on our Elementary Campus.

Welcome to Headwaters School!

Headwaters School is an independent co-ed day school in Austin, Texas serving students from 18 months old through grade 12. Founded in 2001, we design vibrant learning environments across our three campuses: our Early Childhood campus in South Austin, our Elementary campus in Southwest Austin, and our Middle & High School campus in Downtown Austin.

Beginning with a Montessori foundation and progressing to the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme, we invite all of our students to become Peacemakers, Advocates, Creators, and Thinkers.

Once you fill out the Connect With Us form, you will receive information about how to attend a campus tour. At our tours, our Admissions Director welcomes  parents in small-group setting to learn about our curriculum, program offerings, and admissions process.

    (18 months to 5 years for half-day and full-day Pre-K) tours are on most Wednesday mornings during the school year.

    (Kindergarten to 5th Grade) tours are on most Thursday mornings during the school year.
