How to Apply

We are currently enrolling for the 2024-2025 school year in select grades. Please note our Early Childhood, Kindergarten, and 1st grade programs are full and we are building an applicant pool for any spaces that might open up in the coming months.

We are excited you are considering becoming part of the Headwaters community. We understand that applying for your child’s school is one of the most important decisions you can make for your child and family. We strive to make the admissions process as straightforward, open, and warm as possible.

Steps to Apply

  • Step 1: Complete Inquiry Form

    We are excited to share more information with you about our school. Please complete the electronic form at this link to receive information about our application process and upcoming events.

  • Step 2: Visit Us

    Our different campuses provide unique learning environments for our students. You can learn more about our Campus Tour & Open House options, as well as reserve a spot, at this link.

  • Step 3: Submit an Application

    Our Online Application for Admission allows you to complete all forms, pay the $100 application fee, and submit necessary information and teacher recommendations electronically.

  • Step 4: Online Application Checklist

    Once you have completed your Online Application for Admission, you will be able to access an online checklist which will help you finish the final pieces of the application process.

    Checklists include items like the ones below and will be tailored to your child's age:
    • Current Report Card/Progress Report
    • Previous Academic Year Academic Report Card/Progress Report
    • Math Teacher Evaluation
    • English Teacher Evaluation
    • Current Teacher Evaluation
    • Personal Recommendation
    • Additional Report/Assessments

  • Step 5: Student Visits Campus for Guest Day(s)

    Each campus has a different type of student campus visit which is largely based on the age of the prospective student. This visit allows your student to get the chance to experience our programs and learning environment.
    • YCC: Family Visit
    • Primary & Kinder: 30-Minute Visit
    • 1st Grade: 2-hour Morning Visit
    • 2nd–12th Grades: Full-Day Visit

  • Step 6: Acceptance Decision

    Once your application and student visit are complete, we will make an acceptance decision.
