Halloween Party & Fall Plant Sale

Creek Campus - K-1 Playground
Join us on the playground after school for our Halloween Party on Friday, October 18! We’re planning a fun, family time with great music! Lucille will also be hosting a plant sale for anyone interested in some student-propagated plants!

What: Halloween Party & Fall Plant Sale
When: Friday, October 18, 2024, after school until 5 p.m.
Where: K-1 Playground
Who: Creek Families

We invite students to bring a costume or fun dress-up outfit for the dance party. Here’s how it will work:
  • Please pack a simple costume or something fun to dress up in your child’s backpack or extra labeled bag. Please stick to clothing only.
  • At the end of the day, guides will help the class get changed into their costumes/dress up clothing.
  • If you have any props, make-up, hair styling for your child’s costume, please bring with you and do it at the start of the party.
  • Parents and siblings are welcome to dress up, too!

Extended Care Plans

For students who usually attend Extended Care, parents can release their child to be picked up by another parent if the parent cannot attend. Parents can email CreekCampusAttendance@headwaters.org, Caleb, and their classroom guides by Thursday, October 17, with the name of the parent your child may be released to for this special event. If Extended Care students are not released to another parent, they will stay inside to watch a movie and have popcorn. This decision is due to the school’s commitment to keeping a close eye on children in their care and concerns that it will be challenging to do at this event.

Other Halloween Festivities

  • As a reminder, Thursday, October 31 will be the Elementary Halloween Costume Day where all students are invited to wear their costumes for the entire school day. Please, no frightening costumes, masks, or toy weapons.
  • In the morning, K-1 students will have Halloween Singing Songs from 8:15-8:45 a.m.

Student Photo Privacy Request at School Events

To maintain a secure and respectful environment for all of our students while at school, we ask parents to refrain from sharing photos of children other than their own on social media platforms. We understand the excitement of capturing precious moments. Still, we ask for your understanding and support in protecting the privacy of all our students whose parents may not wish for their images to be shared. Apps like Canva, PicsArt, or just your phone’s editing capabilities are great ways to crop or add a sticker.
