This parent education session focused on ADHD in elementary students will provide insights into understanding and supporting children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Led by Alex Gantley, Learning Specialist for Creek Campus, ADHD 101 explores the symptoms, challenges, and unique strengths associated with ADHD. Parents will learn practical strategies to help their children manage distractions, improve focus, and develop effective organizational skills both at school and home. In addition, this session emphasizes the importance of fostering a supportive and nurturing environment, promoting strengths, and collaborating with your child’s team to ensure success. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of ADHD and actionable tools to better advocate for their child's needs.
